Joanna & Ryan definately picked a cracker of a day to get married and what better venue to enjoy the sunshine than at Elms Barn where the rose garden was in full bloom. These two were super easy to work with and need no direction as we took leasurely stroll around the grounds and across the bridge as the golden light filtered through the trees. Beautiful!

A blinder of a day at Park Farm Hotel in Hethersett for Hayley & Jon’s awesome wedding! Some cracking weather gave us ample opportunities to whisk the new Mr & Mrs off to take full advantage of the gorgeous light. Earlier in the day as the lads got suited and booted at home, there were plenty of laughter and tears with Hayley and her bridesmaids at the hotel. As Mum Denise helped Hayley in to her beautiful dress, Dad Nick waited patiently outside for the big reveal. Cue more tears! Great to work with the brilliant Mr Jamie Groom Photography once again too!
A traditional English Garden wedding with a Greek twist! Right from the first time Eleanor & Antony talked us through their plans for their unique day we were super-excited to capture it on film. With the girls getting ready at Eleanor’s parents, Rich headed across town to capture some of the traditional Greek Groom preparations. Its fair to say Antony was already pretty emotional at this stage, surrounded by his family and close friends as Mum Nina and Best Man Lenny led the proceedings. Eleanor totally arrived in style with her Dad at Lound church which was totally full to the brim with guests on a super warm and sunny day! The look on Antony’s face was priceless as her first laid eyes on Eleanor at the Alter. After a dual English/Greek ceremony it was a quick trip around the corner to the stunning Somerleyton Hall for lots of lounging around in the sunshine for the new Mr & Mrs and their guests. These two were total pro’s and needed absolutely no direction on our little jaunt around the lush gardens, despite the blistering heat (although Antony did have to ditch his tweed jacket!). And then came the dancing!
Lots and lots of cute moments to fit in to a minute! After a morning filled with plenty of giggles, it was a short walk down the drive way of the family home to Horham Baptist Church for Lizzy and proud Dad Andrew along with her bridesmaids. Lance looked absolutely “in awe” (his words) as he first laid eyes on Lizzy and everyone had a fantastic sing-along during one of our favourite ceremonies of the year. After the longest confetti line we’ve ever witnessed it was off in to the woods to Thornham Coach House. We always love it when the bride decides to get up and say a few words about her new Hubby during the speeches and Lizzy summed up there relationship perfectly by telling Lance “you make my world go round”.
Lovely couple, stunning church and reception venue at The Granary Estates, plenty of tears and laughter, tons of beautiful details and to top it all an epic sunset – an all round perfect day! After a relaxing morning with Edwina and the girls at home we headed to the pretty Suffolk village of Moulton to catch up with Sam and the boys at The Packhorse Inn for last minute preperations. Sam arrived at St Peter & St Paul’s Church in style in a vintage Jaguar E Type and Edwina followed shortly after in a lovely old Bentley MK6. Edwina’s very talented Mum Eleonora arranged the sumptuous flowers and brother William proudly gave her away as Sam tried to hold it together – the first of any more emotional moments throughout their wedding day. It was also awesome to work with the very talented photographer Mr Luis Holden once again. Luis had discovered a cracking secret location near the church and Mr & Mrs W were more than happy to treck up a hill, over a stile and through a field of cow pats to get some panoramic vistas of the rolling Suffolk countryside. Totally worth it!
So many gorgeous moments to try and fit in to a minute long teaser… It was an uber-chilled out day at Bassmead Manor Barns for Rebecca & Shaun’s wedding. However, there were plenty of surprises too as Shaun had a box of goodies hand delivered to the Bridal Boudoir. No bride should be without her Percy Pigs on her wedding day after all (the surprise mini-moon to Rome was a bonus!). Not to be outdone, Rebecca had tipped us off that Shaun would be arriving in a surprise mode of transport. It’s fair to say he was beaming as he stepped out of his vintage sports car. But, he did save the biggest smile of the day for the moment he first locked eyes with Rebecca in the Rickety Barn. After a murky start, the customary Bassmead sunset well and truly delivered and was the icing on the cake (no pun intended) for an all-round awesome day!
We love what we do because we love telling good stories. It was also a welcome return for us to Southwood Hall after a couple of years away. Breaking from tradition, the Maid of Honour Rachel gave a heartfelt speech which worked perfectly as a narration for Rebecca & Nathan’s rather sweet little tale of how they met. Earlier in the day Nathan looked as proud as punch to see his two gorgeous little ones Jackson and Esme walk down the aisle followed by Rebecca, who looked stunning in her dress and carrying her baby bump with style! This is a story that has so much more to tell…
Flashback to a gorgeous and glitzy winter wedding…
The more we visit the lovely Bassmead Manor Barns, the more we’re convinced it exists inside its very own little weather bubble. Paula & Tony’s mid-winter wedding day began shrowded in heavy fog and we were convinced the sun wouldn’t break through at all. But it did and with it came some of the most magical and stunning winter light we’ve seen in one of our films. Paula looked stunning as she took the (very) short journey from the Bridal boudoir to the beautiful Rickety Barn which was decorated with plenty of twinkly tealights and fairly lights to add even more glam to the occasion and Tony looked super sharp in his Tux too. We even managed to convince the new Mr & Mrs to brave the sub zero temperature for a quick sunset shoot in some of that very special Bassmead golden light.
Flashback to a gorgeous wedding late last year that we shot up in Tydd St Giles. We had such a chilled out morning with Victoria and her lovely family that it was easy to forget we had a wedding to film! We had plenty of time to play about with shooting the dress and shoes. As a result we captured our absolute favourite dress reveal, with the help of Father Of The Bride Mervyn who helped us hang it under an arch in his beautiful garden. After the ceremony we headed over to the Dukes Head Hotel in Kings Lynn where staff had been busy bees creating Victoria’s vision for the reception. So much attention to detail to capture on film, from the table decorations to the stunning cake which all culminated in confetti canon’s for their First Dance. However, the speeches were the real highlight of the day as the Groom, James, paid a heartfelt tribute to his family and his gorgeous wife, with not a dry eye in the house (us included!).
Steph & Nick’s wedding day was made even bigger with two sets of Bride & Groom preperations (once at The Angel Hotel and again later at Hengrave Hall), two very different dresses (both stunning) and two ceremonies (one intimate civil service and later a church blessing). We loved how despite the doubling up of events, each felt so unique as if we were capturing a completely different wedding day. Even with the packed schedule we still managed to sneak in a super-quick dash around the gorgeous gardens at Hengrave Hall to film Steph & Nick before their wedding breakfast (just the one this time!) and evening festivities kicked off. Phew…what a brilliant day!
