Flashback to a gorgeous wedding late last year that we shot up in Tydd St Giles. We had such a chilled out morning with Victoria and her lovely family that it was easy to forget we had a wedding to film! We had plenty of time to play about with shooting the dress and shoes. As a result we captured our absolute favourite dress reveal, with the help of Father Of The Bride Mervyn who helped us hang it under an arch in his beautiful garden. After the ceremony we headed over to the Dukes Head Hotel in Kings Lynn where staff had been busy bees creating Victoria’s vision for the reception. So much attention to detail to capture on film, from the table decorations to the stunning cake which all culminated in confetti canon’s for their First Dance. However, the speeches were the real highlight of the day as the Groom, James, paid a heartfelt tribute to his family and his gorgeous wife, with not a dry eye in the house (us included!).

Steph & Nick’s wedding day was made even bigger with two sets of Bride & Groom preperations (once at The Angel Hotel and again later at Hengrave Hall), two very different dresses (both stunning) and two ceremonies (one intimate civil service and later a church blessing). We loved how despite the doubling up of events, each felt so unique as if we were capturing a completely different wedding day. Even with the packed schedule we still managed to sneak in a super-quick dash around the gorgeous gardens at Hengrave Hall to film Steph & Nick before their wedding breakfast (just the one this time!) and evening festivities kicked off. Phew…what a brilliant day!
Nothing beats a good old outdoor ceremony so we were chuffed that the weather held out for Lindsay & Lee at Dunston Hall. As the girls spent a chilled out morning getting ready in The Penthouse, the boys enjoyed a round of golf to attempt to calm the nerves. Lindsay’s dad looked the picture of a proud Father as he accompanied her across the back terrace and down the aisle. An all-round awesome couple, family and day!
You can’t get more Norfolk than a wedding at The Boat House overlooking the good old Norfolk Broads. When we first arrived in the morning the sky was looking a tad brooding. Little did we know it would reward us with a magical moment later in the day…
We love how The Boat House delivers even if the weather doesn’t and Ellen looked absolutely stunning as she walked down the aisle to meet Louis with the lush and tranquil Ormesby Broad as their backdrop. Later, as we whisked Ellen & Louis off for a quick sunset shoot (with the awesome Mr James Rouse) an awesome double rainbow appeared above them as they stood perched out on the jetty across the broad. Enchanting!
Flashback to a gorgeous late summer’s day and an epic wedding at one of our favourtite Suffolk venues, Marsh Farm. It’s fair to say Gemma & Kieran were pretty humbled as they witnessed their loved ones assembled under one roof for their big day, with the Groom’s Welsh clan mingling seamlessly with Gemma’s Suffolk contingency. From the moment we arrived there were plenty of giggles and a few tears from the bridal suite whilst nearby Kieran and the lads enjoyed a chilled out morning playing pool. So many lovely moments in this teaser, including the bride literaly dancing down the aisle followed by the loudest “woo-hoo” ever recorded as the new Mr & Mrs Wilson were finally declared husband and wife!
Hands down one of our favourite church ceremonies from last year in the gorgeous Essex village of Dedham. Grace & Rob pulled out all the stops – a superb pipe band played as the bride walked in and guests were treated to an incredible performance from a gospel choir which literally made the hairs on the back of our necks stand up. Then it was on to Stoke By Nayland Golf Club where the suprises continued with some hilarious singing waiters and a suprise performance from the bride. What an awesome day!
You would be forgiven for thinking this Sneak Peek was actually shot on the French Riveria as we were blessed with some gorgeous Autumn sunshine and blue skies – perfect for some strolling on the beach at Gorleston with ice creams in hand. Bliss! You will also spot a first for us – some ariel footage incorporated in to one of our films, expertly shot by none other than the groom himself. Lovely couple, lovely chilled out day…
