Flashback to a gorgeous wedding late last year that we shot up in Tydd St Giles. We had such a chilled out morning with Victoria and her lovely family that it was easy to forget we had a wedding to film! We had plenty of time to play about with shooting the dress and shoes. As a result we captured our absolute favourite dress reveal, with the help of Father Of The Bride Mervyn who helped us hang it under an arch in his beautiful garden. After the ceremony we headed over to the Dukes Head Hotel in Kings Lynn where staff had been busy bees creating Victoria’s vision for the reception. So much attention to detail to capture on film, from the table decorations to the stunning cake which all culminated in confetti canon’s for their First Dance. However, the speeches were the real highlight of the day as the Groom, James, paid a heartfelt tribute to his family and his gorgeous wife, with not a dry eye in the house (us included!).

We love late-Summer rural set weddings they often present us with a good excuse to go wandering through fields of gold to get that perfect shot. All the details from the day were exquisite, from the stunning dress, the gorgeous table decorations to the jaw dropping wedding cakes (all 3 of them!). Emma & Rob were up for pretty much anything we asked of them as we explored the grounds as Bassmead well and truly delivered yet another legendary sunset!
We’re excited to finally be able to show you a sneak peek of a gorgeous wedding we shot earlier this year at the lovely Bassmead Manor Barns. When couples write their own vows it always adds something a little extra special to not only the ceremony but to the finished film. Add in a stunning bride, a Groom in full army ceremonial uniform, a Guard Of Honour, an awesome acoustic performance from the Bride’s brother and lots and lots of sunshine and you a have an all-round epic wedding day. As the sun began to set over Bassmead we caught Becky & Ben performing impromptu rehearsal for their First Dance in the final moments of the golden hour. Lush!
We got a sense of how fun this pair were going to be from their pre-wedding gifts to each other. Groom Bob made Bride Sara chuckle with his Minions and Friends references and Bob was rewarded with a very special suprise from none other than Sir David Attenborough himself. The Rickety Barn at Bassmead Manor Barns looked stunning as did Sara as her Dad walked her down the aisle, after which guests were treated to garden games and delicious canapes while basking in some glorous golden sunshine. Another highlight was the speeches, where in addition to the ususal suspects Sara also delivered a very touching tribute to both her family and of course her new Husband. A perfect day all round!
We picked the perfect day to return to Bassmead Manor Barns for this lovely late summer wedding. Sara & her bridesmaids had a chilled out morning at the gorgeous Bridal Boudoir, just a hop and a skip from the stunning Rickety Barn next door. Bob’s face was priceless as he caught the first glance of his bride – as wedding filmmakers, its moments like this that we love! Guests then enjoyed drinks and delicious food (as always!) as we whisked the new Mr & Mrs off for some filming in the stunning surrounding Cambridgeshire countryside. Happy days!
