Lovely couple, stunning church and reception venue at The Granary Estates, plenty of tears and laughter, tons of beautiful details and to top it all an epic sunset – an all round perfect day! After a relaxing morning with Edwina and the girls at home we headed to the pretty Suffolk village of Moulton to catch up with Sam and the boys at The Packhorse Inn for last minute preperations. Sam arrived at St Peter & St Paul’s Church in style in a vintage Jaguar E Type and Edwina followed shortly after in a lovely old Bentley MK6. Edwina’s very talented Mum Eleonora arranged the sumptuous flowers and brother William proudly gave her away as Sam tried to hold it together – the first of any more emotional moments throughout their wedding day. It was also awesome to work with the very talented photographer Mr Luis Holden once again. Luis had discovered a cracking secret location near the church and Mr & Mrs W were more than happy to treck up a hill, over a stile and through a field of cow pats to get some panoramic vistas of the rolling Suffolk countryside. Totally worth it!

So many gorgeous moments to try and fit in to a minute long teaser… It was an uber-chilled out day at Bassmead Manor Barns for Rebecca & Shaun’s wedding. However, there were plenty of surprises too as Shaun had a box of goodies hand delivered to the Bridal Boudoir. No bride should be without her Percy Pigs on her wedding day after all (the surprise mini-moon to Rome was a bonus!). Not to be outdone, Rebecca had tipped us off that Shaun would be arriving in a surprise mode of transport. It’s fair to say he was beaming as he stepped out of his vintage sports car. But, he did save the biggest smile of the day for the moment he first locked eyes with Rebecca in the Rickety Barn. After a murky start, the customary Bassmead sunset well and truly delivered and was the icing on the cake (no pun intended) for an all-round awesome day!
Flashback to a gorgeous late summer’s day and an epic wedding at one of our favourtite Suffolk venues, Marsh Farm. It’s fair to say Gemma & Kieran were pretty humbled as they witnessed their loved ones assembled under one roof for their big day, with the Groom’s Welsh clan mingling seamlessly with Gemma’s Suffolk contingency. From the moment we arrived there were plenty of giggles and a few tears from the bridal suite whilst nearby Kieran and the lads enjoyed a chilled out morning playing pool. So many lovely moments in this teaser, including the bride literaly dancing down the aisle followed by the loudest “woo-hoo” ever recorded as the new Mr & Mrs Wilson were finally declared husband and wife!
When we first met Mandy & Nigel, we just loved how they exuded such a warmth and respect for each other. This warmth was also extended to everyone involved in helping turn their wedding plans in to reality. So much thought and effort was put in to every detail on the day from the gorgeous displays courtesy of Tracy from Timeless Florals to the awesome team led by Daryn at The Cliff Hotel. Whilst Mandy was getting in her stunning dress, her Groom Nigel arrived in style on a vintage Lambretta (with an accompanying entourage of scooters) which we could hear coming a mile away. There’s a lovely whimsical moment right at the very end of this sneak peek which sums up this lovely couple perfectly.
Back at one of our favourite Norfolk wedding venues for the lovely wedding of Justine & Jason at Hales Hall.
So many things to love about this one…. stunning dress, gorgeous bride, an emotional groom, epic venue, an awesome bridal party (and family), top-notch photographer (James Rouse) and some cheeky late afternoon golden sunshine which we just had to take advantage of after a grey start to the day. Justine & Jase were determined to get as many great photos and video moments as possible so were more than happy to let us drag them off around the lush grounds of Hales Hall, although pretty much no direction was required on our part. These two simply knocked it out of the park!
We’re excited to finally be able to show you a sneak peek of a gorgeous wedding we shot earlier this year at the lovely Bassmead Manor Barns. When couples write their own vows it always adds something a little extra special to not only the ceremony but to the finished film. Add in a stunning bride, a Groom in full army ceremonial uniform, a Guard Of Honour, an awesome acoustic performance from the Bride’s brother and lots and lots of sunshine and you a have an all-round epic wedding day. As the sun began to set over Bassmead we caught Becky & Ben performing impromptu rehearsal for their First Dance in the final moments of the golden hour. Lush!
…and the award for best First Kiss goes to….
Hannah & Dan decided to brighten up the shortest (and often the gloomiest) day of the year by bringing together families and friends for a gorgeous winter wedding at Elms Barn. Despite the dark skies and blustery wind, they pulled it off in style and even bravely managed a jaunt around the gardens with us and James Rouse at Elms in the afternoon. Stay tuned to the very end of this sneak peek for an awesome sparkler extravanagza!
Great to be back at Marsh Farm late last Summer for Emily & Ryan’s wedding day. There were some familiar faces amongst the bridesmaids and it was great to catch up with the lovely Beverley Harrison Photography as always. Emily looked absolutely stunning in her dress and her veil took on a life of its own during the afternoon couple shoot, which made for some awesome shots on the jetty. What a lovely chilled out day all round!
There’s something very special about having a good old kneees up on the family farm, especially when there’s a wedding involved too! Cat, Dan and their family truly transformed an empty field just outside of Woodbride in Suffolk in to a glorious reception venue, complete with an epic marquee from Suffolk Marquees, bouncy castle and rodeo bull. They also treated guests to some scrumptious food from Baytree Pizza & Catering, which we kindly sampled for them. Bride Catriona looked stunning in one of our favourite dresses of the year and Dan didn’t scrub up too bad either (also one of our favouite wedding suits!).
Love it when we manage to out-manoeuvre the weather! After dodging showers for much of the afternoon at Elms Barn we were finally able to get the lovely Jenna & Callan out across the orchard in what turned out to be a very special “Golden Hour”. It was there we captured one of our all time favourite shots which is featured at the end of this sneak peek for their forthcoming wedding film. Enjoy!
