If you’re planning a wedding at Chippenham Park and looking for a Cambridgeshire wedding videographer, Kelly and James’ July wedding is a perfect example of how beautifully this venue works in the height of summer. With its sweeping parkland, elegant interiors and relaxed atmosphere, Chippenham Park lends itself naturally to a timeless, story-led wedding film.
Kelly and James’ wedding was full of laughter from start to finish. It was such a personal day, packed with little details that felt completely true to them, and some brilliantly written vows that summed them up perfectly. Nothing felt generic. Everything had meaning, and it showed. Watch their film below.
A relaxed July wedding at Chippenham Park
They’d planned for an outdoor ceremony, but when the rain rolled in on the day, a change of plan was needed. Rebecca and the team at Chippenham Park moved swiftly and quietly to make it happen, and for guests it felt seamless. The ceremony still had the same warmth and energy they’d imagined from the start. There was a bit of rain around, but it didn’t affect the day at all.
What really stood out was the atmosphere they created. The whole day was about bringing joy to the people around them. There was so much laughter and so many shared moments. Kelly and James were completely present, enjoying it all as it unfolded rather than worrying about the logistics.
A day full of personality and laughter
From the ceremony onwards, everything flowed naturally. Their vows set the tone straight away. Thoughtful, funny, and unmistakably them. You could feel how much effort they’d put into making the day personal, not just for themselves but for everyone sharing it with them.
As the day went on, guests moved between spaces, catching up, laughing, and soaking up the setting. By the time golden hour rolled around, things slowed just enough for Kelly and James to take a moment together and breathe it all in. Those quieter pockets, especially after such a joyful, full-on day, are always some of the nicest moments to capture.
Why Chippenham Park works so well
Chippenham Park is a brilliant blank canvas. A beautiful one. The RHS gardens, the lake summerhouse, and the house itself give you so many options to shape the day around what matters most to you. The house feels welcoming and homely, while still very much having that grand stately home presence and wow factor.
There’s also real flexibility when it comes to personalising the ceremony. Whether that’s indoors or out in the gardens, the venue adapts to the couple and the day they want to create. Kelly and James made full use of that, and it suited their vision perfectly.
