Chloe and James’ Bassmead Manor Barns Summer wedding was an absolute dream of a day and a truly epic one! As their wedding videographers in Cambridgeshire, we were thrilled to capture every moment of their wedding day. Chloe’s choice of a sage green theme perfectly complemented the rural setting and rustic style of the venue. From the bridesmaids’ multi-way dresses to the abundance of lush foliage and custom rustic signage, everything was visually jaw-dropping. The ceremony in the Rickety Barn was filled with delicate petals that were lovingly strewn down the aisle. The stunning and beautiful backdrop added an extra touch of elegance to the occasion. The attention to detail was on point. As wedding videographers who love capturing all the personal touches and stunning details of a wedding day, we were totally in our element.

One of the things we loved about Chloe and James was their amazing friendship and affection, which was evident as soon as we first met them. We all hit it off right away and they were both so lovely, laid back, and totally accessible, allowing us to capture some truly candid and natural moments. The Bride and Groom were total pros and a total joy to work with as they needed almost no direction from us, entrusting us to lead the way to find the best locations around Bassmead Manor Barns for their couple shoot. The result was a truly personal, unique, and contemporary wedding video that summed up their love story perfectly. We had lots of fun working with their Photographer Gina Fernandes – who had a similar style and relaxed approach to us which ensured Chloe & James got the absolute best photos and video and had plenty of laughs along the way.

As an experienced wedding videographer team, we understand the importance of speeches to help us tell the couple’s “story”. The speeches are often some of the most memorable moments of the entire event, and they help us to capture the essence and emotions of the day in our wedding films. Highlights of the speeches from James, Chloe’s Dad and The Best Man provided some unique insights into the couple’s personalities, relationships, and the all-important journey to the altar. They were the perfect mix of funny, emotional, and touching all at once, enabling us to create a highly personal, unique, and meaningful story that reflected their love story perfectly. Nailed it!

The one final piece of the puzzle was the surprise performance from Chloe’s talented brother Luke White who performed a stunning song that he wrote especially for them. We were able to incorporate this into the final edit, to add a truly unique element to the finished wedding film.
