Woodhall Manor near Woodbridge in Suffolk looked absolutely lush in the golden September sunshine for Poppy & Luke on their wedding day. Emotions were running high on the day, with Poppy and Luke writing letters to each other to open in the morning. It’s the little unique and personalised details like this that couples remember long after the confetti has been thrown and the wedding cake has been cut. As wedding videographers, it also gave us everything we needed to tell the story of their day.

Poppy opted for the perfect Autumnal Boho rustic wedding style which was perfectly represented in her hair, flowers and table decor. As with any wedding day, things don’t always go 100% to plan and the weather is often to blame. Poppy & Luke had opted for an outdoor wedding ceremony in the grounds of Woodhall Manor but dark skies overhead meant a last-minute switch to indoors. It was a testament to their good humour and positivity that they didn’t let this spoil their day. They literally didn’t stop smiling all day long!

In the end, it didn’t actually rain and Poppy & Luke were treated to some glorious Autumnal sunshine. The gardens of Woodhall Manor were bathed in golden light all afternoon as we took them off for some chilled-out couple shots while guests relaxed in the hazy afternoon warmth. Days like this are why we really love September weddings!
