“We are absolutely blown away by the video. We couldn’t have asked for anything more perfect when capturing the essence of our wedding. It was incredibly special to be able to relive the day in such a way and we are made up with how you have presented it. The little details you were able to show, from the pendants on the bouquets to the print on the confetti cones, have ensured that we’ll be able to enjoy every last bit of the day for years to come.”

Norfolk Videographer captures a Scottish-inspired Autumn wedding at Southwood Hall.
Southwood Hall in the rural Norfolk countryside holds a special place in our hearts as it’s where we got married back in 2009. Over the years we’ve returned many times and Autumn is really when it looks its most stunning.
Nicola wanted to celebrate and incorporate her Scottish heritage into the wedding day despite the Norfolk setting. This is why a pre-wedding meeting is so important to run through all the fine details so we don’t get caught off guard. So, there were kilts, an Irn Bru toast and a surprise Scottish Pipe band performance plus the inclusion of a traditional Scottish Quaich or “Loving Cup” drinking ceremony. According to tradition, the Quaich is performed to toast the unification of the couple and their families.
Just as we thought we weren’t getting a sunset, Mother Nature pulled out all the stops for quite a spectacular show. With just seconds to spare, we grabbed the bride and groom and headed on to the back lawn for a quick couple shoot, just before the sun dipped below the horizon. It was one of our favourite sunsets of the year for obvious reasons! This is why we always pre-warn our couples to be spontaneous and trust us.
